01/25/08 - E-LSA EXEMPTION APPLICATION PROCESS OUTLINED
As EAA announced on January 23, FAA has granted EAA’s request for an E-LSA transition exemption. This allows owners of N-numbered (registered) experimental light-sport aircraft to obtain an airworthiness certificate after the regulatory deadline of January 31, 2008. To aid in this process, EAA has posted important information on its sport pilot website, www.sportpilot.org, regarding eligibility to take advantage of the exemption. Read more |
